Rena Cohen is a sophomore at the college from Gainesville, Florida concentrating in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a secondary in Statistics and a citation in Spanish. Growing up, she studied classical violin for 12 years, spending several summers at Kinhaven Music Camp in Vermont. She continues to pursue her love of music at Harvard as a choral fellow for the Harvard University Choir and as co-music director of the Radcliffe Pitches, Harvard’s oldest treble-voiced a cappella group. In spring of 2019, she costume-designed her first show, Diary of Anne Frank, and she looks forward to continuing to explore her interest in costume design and historical fashion as a member of the HCO production team. Outside of performing, she works as a student receptionist for the Harvard Art Museums, and aspires to pursue a career in arts administration, striving to make cultural institutions more educational, relevant, and accessible to all.
