Rebecca Thau

Rebecca Thau, a junior from New York City, is thrilled to make her Harvard College Opera debut in this season’s production of Cendrillon! Rebecca’s Harvard performance credits include The Yeomen of the Guard; or, The Merryman and his Maid (Jack Point); The Sorcerer (J.W. Wells); and Aloha, Say the Pretty Girls (Wendy). She was also engaged as the Cantorial Soloist for Harvard Hillel’s High Holiday services this fall. Outside of vocal performance and theatre, Rebecca is on the Steering Committee of Harvard Hillel and works as a Research Assistant in the Romance Languages/Comparative Literature departments. Rebecca served as a Publicity Manager for HRG&SP’s most recent production of The Pirates of Penzance, and spent last summer doing development and research work for the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Rebecca jointly concentrates in History & Literature and French with a secondary in Jewish Studies.
