Henrique Neves
Henrique Neves is a 21-year-old baritone and a senior at Harvard College, studying Philosophy and living at Mather House. He will be performing the role of Count Almaviva in Harvard College Opera's 2022 production of Le Nozze di Figaro. He currently studies with Lorraine Nubar, faculty at New England Conservatory's Vocal Performance department and head of the Juilliard Pre-College Voice Department. He is a Ferris Fellow of the Harvard University Choir, which sings in services and concerts for Harvard University's Memorial Church. Henrique performed the role of Papageno in Harvard College Opera’s 2020 production of Die Zauberflöte. He also performed the role of Guglielmo in Lowell House Opera's 2019 production of Così fan tutte. Henrique has sung in the chorus for New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera's production of Bizet's Carmen. At Juilliard Pre-College, he also performed in various performances, including solo recitals, group recitals, and opera scenes concerts.
