Ella Rescigno

Ella Rescigno ('25) is a soprano from Columbia, South Carolina concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in music. While she has studied classical voice for nearly ten years and currently studies under Carley De Franco, throughout high school, Ella studied under Rachel Calloway. She is a first place winner in the Schmidt Vocal Competition, Scholarship recipient of the Schmidt Vocal Foundation, first place winner of state and regional NATS, and a John Stoudenmire award winner. Prior to coming to Harvard, Ella attended Boston University Tanglewood Institute (2019) and was accepted into Curtis Summerfest's Mikael Eliasen Voice Program (2020). She currently takes voice lessons through the Holden Voice Program and is a singer and executive committee member in the Radcliffe Choral Society. Ella is grateful to have been involved with HCO since her first year on campus! She has had the pleasure of playing a chorus member in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" during her freshman year, Valencienne in Lehar's "The Merry Widow" as a sophomore, Nannetta in Verdi's "Falstaff" in her junior year, and now in her senior year, Cendrillon in Massenet’s “Cendrillon.” She looks forward to continuing to pursue music through HCO as both a performer and a board member.
