HArvard COllege opera invites yoU...

to the greatest party of the year in Johann Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus! This comedic operetta encompasses one uproarious day as playboy Eisenstein postpones his prison sentence to attend Prince Orlofsky’s masked ball, only to find himself the butt of a practical joke. Fueled by deception and copious champagne, the rousing story and score will “turn your morals upside down and set your spirits free.”

We will be casting nine singing roles, two non-singing roles, and a chorus of partygoers. Vocalists should be prepared to sing an art song or aria of their choice, while non-singing actors should be ready to read excerpts of dialogue.
